Web Design

Web I Final Project

Rough House Homepage

In my Web I class my teacher tasked us with creating a website using Brackets. I chose to create a website for my dad’s gym, Rough House Fitness and Athletics. In this class we learned the basics of website design coding, we had two projects in this class, we had to build off the first project to create our final. I used pictures from the gym and tried to incorporate them into the website, I also embeded a Youtube advertising video that was created for the gym.

Web II Bootstrap Project

Baking Blog Homepage

In my Web II class we learned how to use Bootstrap in Dreamweaver. Bootstrap is really helpful when it comes to creating a clean looking webpage fast. I made my website about my baking passion, I was able to make a page for each baking category and link the pages to each other to create a user-friendly website layout. You can see a big difference between my final Web I project and my second project from Web II. This project was focused more on learning layout and design using BootStrap.

WEB I at Loyola University Maryland

Web I at Loyola is where you learn the language of website design coding. I learned on Brackets but some classes use Visual Studio Code, and we learn all the basics of coding, and what everything means and how one line break can change the whole layout of the website.

WEB II at Loyola Univeristy Maryland

Web II at Loyola is where you learn more about design and focus more on changing things in CSS and learning other programs like, WordPress, Dreamweaver, BootStrap, jQuery Mobile. In my opinion you get to focus more on how the website looks then the actual coding portion of the website, since a lot of the programs code for you, you just go in and make changes to the design.
